By train

1. From Guiyang, you can take the train to Zhijin. The ticket price is 28.5 yuan (for reference only). It takes about 3 hours to Zhijin Railway Station. After getting off the train, you can take a bus on the bus stop to Zhijindong Cave there. The bus fare is 4 yuan.


Take the plane

1. Buy a ticket to Guiyang Longdongbao airport or Bijie Feixiong Airport.

 

2. After getting off the plane, you can drive to Zhijindong Cave by yourself. The whole journey is about 120 kilometers and takes 1 hour and 30 minutes.


By bus

1.You can take a bus from Guiyang to Zhijin, which charges 50 yuan (for reference only), and the whole journey is on highway. It takes about 1.5 hours to Zhijin Passenger Transport Terminal. You can wait for the special line bus (No. 10) from Zhijin to Zhijindong Cave Geopark at the bus stop. The total fare is 4 YUAN/person.

2.Self driving.

Location of Zhijindong Cave

Zhijindong Cave UGGp is located in Guanzhai Miao Township, Zhijin County, Guizhou Province, on the south bank of Liuchong River, one of the headstreams of the Wujiang River, 120 kilometers away from the provincial capital Guiyang, with the geographic coordinates of 26°38'31"~26°52'35" N latitudinally and 105°44'42"~106°11'38" longitudinally. It covers an area of 183.31 km², having an elevation of 900~1670m. In April 1980, a tourism resource survey team organized by the People's Government of Zhijin County discovered this cave. Zhijindong Cave is now a national geopark, a national natural heritage, a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, and a global geopark. Zhijindong Cave was rated as the top of "Chinese six most beautiful tourist caves"; “Chinese most beautiful tourist attraction”,the top of "Chinese top ten karst caves". National geographic research departments such as "Chinese National Geography" under the Chinese Academy of Sciences praised it, calling it "the king of Chinese caves", "back from a visit to the Huangshan Mountain, you will have no interest in other mountains. the same is true of the Zhijindong Cave". On September 19, 2015 (17p.m.Japan time), Zhijindong National Geopark was officially approved by UNESCO to join the Global Geoparks. It filled the gap that Guizhou did not have a global geopark.It became the first global geopark in Guizhou Province.
