Structure of earth
Timer:2024-05-09

During the 4.6 billion years, the earth forms a complex system including earth core, mantle and crust. Earth’s spheres are divided into inner sphere and outer sphere. Outer sphere of the earth is composed of atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere and lithosphere; inner sphere of the earth is divided into three basic spheres: mantle sphere, outer core sphere and inner core sphere. In addition, there is also an asthenosphere between the outer sphere and inner sphere, located at an average depth of about 150 km under the ground. Lithosphere, asthenosphere and inner sphere of earth together form a solid earth. Lithosphere consists of crust and top of upper mantle and comprises three kinds of rocks: magmatic rocks, metamorphic rocks and sedimentary rocks.
