Pengjiazhai Gorge

It connects to Lujiadu in the upside and Xiaoshancheng in the lower side with the length of about 9.2km and water surface width of 90-170m. Most part of the gorge is in the V shape,few is in the earth fissure shape(after the dam was constructed on the lake, it has been flooded).There is wide and narrow water surface. It was one of the most torrential and dangerous river reaches in Liuchonghe River once.  The terrain at both banks is steep and many geoheritages can be seen along the gorge, such as rock pillar, solutional caps, Eyuzui cave and fold.

Main characteristics of Pengjiazhai Gorge
