On April 22,2019, The opening ceremony of the 50th "world earth day" activity week was held at zhijin international yucai school in guizhou province.On the same day, "zhijindong cave UNESCO global geopark popular science demonstration school" was established in guizhou zhijin yucai international school.
It is the first science demonstration school established in zhijindong cave and it marks the beginning of the ecological concept of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”and“harmonious coexistence between humans and nature”between Zhijindong and Zhijin Yucai School. This will not only improve the students' awareness of cherishing the beautiful earth, protecting natural resources and loving their beautiful hometown, but also enhance the communication and cooperation between the park and the school, promote the popular science of zhijindong global geopark into the campus, and greatly enhance the students' practical ability of popular science and their enthusiasm of loving the great rivers and mountains of the motherland.
Leaders from zhijindong cave administration, zhijindong cave tourism company, zhijin jingu company and zhijin yucai international school attended the "launching ceremony of the 50th world earth day of the land and resources of zhijin cave and the awarding ceremony of the science popularization demonstration school of zhijin cave global geopark".Wang dong, party secretary and principal of yucai international school, made a speech at the ceremony. Liu jianyuan, discipline inspection secretary of zhijindong administration, awarded the yucai international school on behalf of zhijindong administration.
After the awarding ceremony,Zhijindong administration and zhijin yucai international school has signed the official collaboration agreement,Both reached an agreement to include popular science education of zhijindong cave in the teaching plan of yucai international school.In the future,we’ll conduct in-depth cooperation in geological knowledge training、popular science publicity、popular science practice、Popular Science innovation、scientific research achievements sharing to further achieve common development.
